Aamir Khan has been confirmed in Dhobi Ghaat, though it was not easy to get role in the film, Aamir revealed in a TV Show. Aamir went forward to her wife Kiran Rao for role as a lead actor in her movie but she rejected him saying that Dhobi Ghaat is a small budget film with not so popular artists and some new faces and signing Aamir will definitely cause distraction in production of movie.
