Aamir khan is a very renowned personality of Indian film industry. His full name is Aamir Hussain Khan. He was born on 14 of March, 1965 in Mumbai in a Muslim family that has been consistently a part of Motion picture industry for the last few years. He has got his background perfectly associated with the film industry like his father Tahir Hussain has been a film maker while his uncle, Nasir Hussain has been a very good film artist and then later on he started film making and also directed few of them. Aamir khan is a very expert and perfect film actor and found to be suitable for almost all kind of role.

Aamir khan has been fond of acting since his birth and this made him step in the film industry in the minor age of 8 years in the film “Yaadon ki Baraat” in the year 1973 which was produced by his uncle Nasir Hussain. Later on, in the year 1984 he acted in the film “Holi” which was his debut film of adult age. But these films turned to be helpless for Aamir khan and did not help him in settling down his feet in industry. Ultimately in 1988, he got break through by film “Qayamat se Qayamat tak” which was directed by his uncle Mansoor Khan. This movie got unbelievable success and became successful hit on the box office, which added some glorious stars in the Aamir’s reputation and demand. This was merely the beginning of Aamir khan’s popularity which added day by day. Then perfectionist Khan acted in the film “Dil hai ki manta nahi” in 1991, which got super hit and then consistently he gave successful hits to the Bollywood like “Jo jeeta wohi sikandar” In 1992, “Hum hai rahi pyaar ke” in 1993, “Rangeela” in 1995, “Raja Hindustani” in 1996, “Ishq” in 1997, “Sarfarosh” in 1999. However his film “Mela” got flop after long time but it is like a drop of water taking away from sea.

 

In 2001, his film “Lagaan” made him super star over night and was nominated for Oscar Awards. In the recent few years, he has done few successful hits like “Dil chahta hai”, “Tare zameen par”, “Ghajini” and his recent movie “3 Idiots” compelled the audience to call him Mr. Perfectionist.

His next upcoming movies include Dhobi Ghaat which is directed by his wife and he is playing role of a painter.

Now, he has stepped into film making and direction apart from acting.
